Let’s see if the EPL has the balls to kick out United, City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs...

The immediate, and utter rejection of this so-called super league required someone to fall on their sword.

Sadly, the Glazers are still in the background as the puppet-masters of United.

From what I read he wasn't leaving cos united joined the super legue... otherwise he would say to everyone hey look I did the right thing. I think amid covid he can't go out punting United like a ****ing all business and no football which means costs cutting is on the way and his bailing already

According to this article, Ed Woodward may be exiting the club because he was going to be banned from attending future Premier League meetings, making his position as an executive untenable.
The 14 are particularly angry and disappointed with the executives from the breakaway clubs who had been sitting on key Premier League committees.

Certain executives will be banned from attending Premier League meetings in the future and that would make their positions at their clubs untenable.

The 14 clubs no longer trust these executives and cannot work with them going forward.

Going forward, the key, as far as the 14 are concerned, is to change the Premier League's rules so this does not happen again.

Executives from the breakaway clubs who sit on key Premier League committees include Bruce Buck of Chelsea and Ed Woodward of Manchester United.
