Good news the African Cup Of Nations has been moved to June/July so we won't miss Bailly.

I really hate that CDM role and position. Wish we could just go back to CMs but alas. Maybe Matic still comes in and solve that position for Mourinho. Means we will have pogba a bit further up the pitch. If we do make more signings it will become a bit more like what we want, having players that can adapt and play to different match situations and formations.

I also dont like that role. Prefer CM's who work hard and are the engines of the team. Bust a gut, get involved in defense and attack, guys like Herrera and Kante and so on, Verratti another

Exactly ... rather than someone whose name we cannot mention that is the epitome of the deep lying, backward passing, slow things down CM.

Yeah, lots of talk about this foden kid .. but yes, he is small ...

Great look about him but has a long way to go and we will see if he actually gets game time out of pre-season

They way they carrying on about how he bossed the MF was laughable tho - obviously sore about getting thumped last night

one move he turned on the ball and ran past Herrera and they make that the best player for City? Shame guess it's pretty hard to take anything positive when your new Goal keeper let in 2 easy goals, spent a good 100m for a non existent defence :)

Yeah, they trying to deflect the pain form the rest of what happened. Pogba was the maestro and no-one could come close to his display last night.

They look pretty thin for all they have spent and Pep is more worried about playing Football manager at this point it seems. Read somehow that he still wants another 4 more players

That keeper looks very nervy and that wont help a new defence trying to gel, neither does Bravo's antics..will be interesting

You forgot the "epitome of what most modern coaches are looking for in their teams" :p
