We do if we can finally offload Fellaini. Also he is better than Fellaini. So Fellaini can start on the bench. But yes, he wasn't at the top of my list.

Am I missing something here, are we comparing a dmf to a winger?

I still think fellaini does have a role to play albeit a very, very limited one.

Mou is a fan of fellaini, like he is of carrick, and was of rooney .. which i am all okay with. Some managers have their favourites. As long as they bring success to the team, i don't care who their favourites are!

Can't wait for the midfield of Matic, Mata and mkhitarian with martial coming off the left ..

Or even for those cold winter away nights with matic, fellaini and pogba buttoning up the central midfield and letting ..

can't wait for the season ...

We do have wide issues but not on the left where Bale would want to play. I'm banking on Martial and the combination with Shaw (biggish gamble) to carry that side.

Wide on the right is a bigger issue - the only out and out right winger we have is Lingard? Valencia is decent down that side also so not a complete weakness.

On the other hand, Mou probably won't play that wide a formation often so I don't know if out and out wingers are what we're after...4-2-3-1 is probably most likely in big games (IMO).

I think we are just getting ahead of ourselves somewhat. Nothing has been proven that these signings will lead to us winning trophies; and all the other main contenders have made significant signings themselves. Let's be a wee bit more humble and circumspect...

It's called being optimistic, I haven't been this optimistic in a long time.

I don't recall seeing any posts claiming we will win everything, other than challenging for.

No, but it's all a bit gloating and gushing for me. Just my opinion. Every other teams fans are just as hopeful, but they have been rather more restrained.
