No, but it's all a bit gloating and gushing for me. Just my opinion. Every other teams fans are just as hopeful, but they have been rather more restrained.
I havent gloated or anything like that. I am just excited about having 3 of the finest Midfileders in Europe playing in a balanced formation - something we needed to address in our team for while and this is the first time we see that in terms of players and balance - so yes, I'm ****ing stoked!
Added to that, Matic is a proven EPL winner and just came off a winning season of which he played 35 out of 38 games
Added to that, we just bought one of the best strikers in the EPL, second highest scorer last year and we have put him in a team that has created the most chances last year
So stoked again! We are strengthening and building on foundation already in place.
Other teams may be excited and so be it, and maybe they not
Maybe they arent excited about getting a unproven winger from Roma, knowing that they struggled last year with one game a week and only managed 4th, and on top of that, they may loose their best player
Maybe other teams are circumspect about a French league player who still has to cut it in the EPL - not everyone is Zlatan. Plus add to that Thursday night footie
Maybe some fans of City and Chelsea are still deciding who they supporting this year. Chelsea missed out on Lukaku and now have to gamble on a striker with no EPL experience and who hasnt had too much game time of late. They also sold one of the key players from last season and hoping a French Ligue player will be able to just fit in and do the same. City look like they cleaning house as much as they are buying. Will they just gel in the EPL? What about the keepers who seem like a double clown act
And Spurs havent even moved in the market
