Seems to me Lindgard is only good for 2 matches and his 3rd match he croaks

He is now turning 25 as well, so this is his peaking timeand he looks very far from a good peak player. Average seems to be his peak

Martial 21 and Rashford 19 are streets head of him and should be given the chance

dbecks, i see you're lining up for a new carrick to moan about as the man is surely nearing retirement :crylaugh:

I don't think he is bad when he is on form, but he isn't on form very often these days. I do like him, young player come through the academy but that is equally what worries me. Its not like he's in his first or second year at United, he's probably been here more than 15 years so knows what is expected. Hopefully the new contract makes people want to buy him at a premium, just hope his wages doesn't scare them off.

Now that Matic has replaced Carrick on the the field, I need someone to replace Carrick in my moans:crylaugh:

On a serious note,

I dont mind him playing certain games or coming on coz he can be a good squad player and will work hard - very useful to bring on when the other team is tired. But him keeping out Rash and Martial is just sinful any way you look at it.

The guy got injured early in pre-seaon and doesnt play a game. Martial and Rash had very good pre-seasons and then sit for the Super Cup (A game they would of been relishing) -what does this say about their place in the side? What does it do to their motivation?

I hope that the Real game was just to give him some time to get fit and not an indication of the role for Lindgard in big games

Saw that on twitter ,I originally thought it was offside and this just pissed me off. sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't. the video technology is needed but after recent games, it has caused more harm than good. There was a game recently where the ref didn't call for the penalty and then a counter attack happens and the opposing team scores. While they celebrating ref blows and calls for the penalty
This is the game. If VAR is going to be implemented like this then I don't want to have it. The system should only be used at a "natural stoppage" If the ref was unsure then he should have stopped it immediately and not allowed play to go on. If the opposition score then the goal is disallowed but what about if a player gets a red? https://youtu.be/Hf7HO45k8eE

Well ref should have stopped it then it's not VAR's fault in that instance VAR worked - was a clear penalty.

Video ref should have told ref to stop play

Well it is already 10.30!

Hoping for a predictable line up.

DDG,
AV, EB, CS, MD,
AH, NM, PP,
HM, RL, MR

Guessing he won't start lindelof before smalling at this stage yet but hope he does, also would like to see Mata and Martial at some stage but guessing Fellaini will make an appearance.
