Yep, looking forward to seeing him play. The team that started looks like the right first team. You could get Herrera in there for away games. You could also alternate Rashford and Martial

I think Herrera will fill in for Mata in most games. Wont see Mikhi and Mata together too often

I'm good with that. Really happy with youngsters like Rashford and Martial - but how do you get them both in?! Hope they happy to alternate as we will need the squad

Some rumours saying we will wait till Jan to sign another player - personally I think we need a LB

- Maybe Mou is going to give Young and Shaw a run there in a 3-5-2 formation

Talks of a late move for Robben

- 33 is abit pass the prime. But he is a proven winner and still gets every defender with that same "cut-in" move
- Could he be the one season Zlatan/Larrson signing to accommodate the Left Wing till we get someone else

yes, not that i worry about the money, but i am a fan of giving players a chance that has been there a while a chance, like shaw ... young can play a role .. you don't need 11 pogbas ... you just need some players to step up their level ... look at park, butt, fletcher ... looked good in a good team .. i like when that happens ...

You not like Blind at LB? I thought he did a pretty good job on Sunday.

I like Shaw and Young and feel they both make good wingbacks in a 3-5-2 formation. I like players with Heart and that give it their all, but prefer them to be like a Beckham, Giggs, and Keane that give it their all, not a Park or Butt - But I hear what you saying

He was ok on Sunday, but will struggle against better opposition. He is abit slow for the attacking Wingback position. Something a Rose, Walker, Zabelatta (Prime) gives you

Rose wants out so it is doable. Spurs will struggle to keep their stars if they don't revaluate their wage structure which is reported to be around 100k. With what some players are getting it's pretty low. Kane is on 100k, Rose 64k and Alli 50k. Alli could easily get triple at another top 6 side.

Would definitely be an upgrade to Blind in that position. Some injury concerns but I dont think its that serious

Yeah, Levy is a ****ing exploiter - wants exorbitant amounts for his players and then pays them less than other top clubs - wont sell for long that approach

They wanted 50-60 million for Dier but they pay him 50k a week. That's why it's strange Kane, Dier and Alli recently signed new deals.

I don't think players "earn" these crazy salaries but I don't have any problems with it like some seem to have, saying nurses, soldiers etc earn X. If the players don't get it the owners just will. Like Michael Jordan said "The players earning millions of dollars are not the rich ones it's the people paying them"

Yes, i would like to know what Levy promises them for the relatively low salaries ..

that i can understand, salary bump of double now rather than later, why not?

GBP75k to GBP150K is what i read ..
But now he has less negotiation power when wanting to leave. It's no secret Barca have been after him for some time now.

I'm not so sure. Look at when Ronaldo wanted to leave United. If I recall, he had a long term contract, and it was only SAF negotiating with him for another year, with an agreement he would be allowed to leave after that, that kept everything amicable.

With Cou having handed in his transfer request, he has told the Pool fans he wants to leave. Bit of a bridge burnt there.

I get what you saying he may have burnt his bridges and there seems to be some friction with Klopp but Ronaldo left a highly capable and decorated squad and it was a bit of a you gave me the opportunity and I gave you trophies kind of thing and we could part on amicable terms.

Liverpool took a chance on Coutinho and helped him develop but he has not helped them win any trophies. If he leaves it's not like they can just replace him and what do they have left in proper quality players Fiminho and Mane. It's just like Suarez and Torres, they get them to a point when they start to deliver quality and start to challenge for things then they move on and they take 2/3 years to develop the next player.

Torres?

Although, I am not sure what you are saying. Players do develop, and then get interest from other clubs. Not sure what the relevance is to Cou wanting to leave then?

The Torres and Suarez reference is that they can't afford to be rebuilding every 2/3 years by losing their best player especially the way the market is now. I think they realise that and since he's on a long term contract will make him stay.
