The first 30 Minutes so far in today's game against Forest, feels like Man U is a struggling lower midfield team and not fighting to get into any European competition.

15 minutes after the start of the second half and looks like both teams had some red bull refreshments.

EDIT:
That first goal for forest was coming for a while now. Our defense was found napping.

We have t had a mid since Kobbie went off…. Was it an injury?

This team always flatters to deceive

Amad hasn’t been any better since coming on for Antony… at least his excuse is coming from injury

Something I read on Google:

Manchester United have lost 21 games in all competitions in 2023 – only in 1930 (28), 1972 (25) and 1921 (24) have they ever lost more in a calendar year.

Afaik only Anthony has a current injury scare from tonight's game. Haven't seen anything about Kobbie

And this is the real reason true ManUtd fans don't celebrate and go crazy with comments ( IN RECENT TIMES THAT IS ) is that we know how this team / management of Utd just plain ol sucks...

Couldn’t even give the old gaffer something to be happy about. Embarrassing.

Of the current crop of players only Varane could start for a Sir Alex team. Honestly as a non-United fan I’m amazed at how the standards have dropped in terms of players.

Problem is, Varane is also not playing up to his standards... IMHO - age has him done...

This I disagree. He’s clearly levels above his teammates. Some of his balls into the attackers last night were elite.

He is a victim of where he is. I think he has that Thiago Silva in him.

McTominay and Maguire - two of the often most derided players currently at the club - are the exact sort of players that Fergie liked in his teams, and they would thrive. Hard grafters that don't make a noise. Fletcher, Butt, Cleverley, Irwin, Park, Fortune, Evans, etc.

The key to a lot of Fergie's successful teams was having a blue-collar spine sprinkled with world-class talent in key positions. The club's problem in recent years is having far too many overpaid players who think too much of themselves. And I include chasing Varane and Casemiro in that. The club went for big names past their peak in the hopes that it would cover cracks. It hasn't.

Something else that's hindering us is our lack of a defined style of play - we've changed manager so much no one really knows how we play, esp the players themselves. Which has also made it very difficult for any home grown academy players to burst through, bar Garnacho recently

That new dude should be getting involved round about now with share transfer taking place.
