Official Manchester United Supporters' Thread Part 5

Mornin' lads.

So, if I'm understanding news this morning correctly, Old Trafford is coming down and a 100 000 seater is going up in it's place.

Congratulations to those of you excited about all of this, but there is at least one Liverpool fan on this forum who will be gutted to see it go.

Highbury, White Heart Lane, Goodison (I'm still upset they replaced Dyche who was well on track to make the new stadium the nicest in the Championship) and now OT... Eish!

OOF!!!

Sir Jim Ratcliffe: "Job cuts? We found out we even had a body language consultant on £175,000 a year!"

Sir Jim Ratcliffe: “There’s no money left in the club. And that is after my 300 million”

Should have just gotten the Qataris.

Should have just gotten the Qataris.

Glazers.

The Qataris wanted a full buyout, so the Glazers would have been gone.

Ratcliffe is only a minority holder, so the Glazers can keep their grubby paws on the club. And even better for them, Ratcliffe has become the face and thus fall guy/scape goat/target for all the anger and criticism coming from the fans, so those Glazer d-bags can keep milking the club without getting all of the blame.

Yup, this piece sums it up...

First time that Forest done the Double over Man U. They lacked oomph tonight

i give up - fook United while the Glazers and Rattytw@tty are in charge there - i just wont give a fook anymore - same as when that stubbon Cant Amorim is the manager - he needs a wake up and needs to learn that there is more than one way to play football - other teams have multiple ways and thats why we are beaten multiple times because this sch!t doesn't change ..... and then goes on about how bad the players are ..... and for sure they are bad but he is worse

only total utter cants in charge there - not worth supporting them anymore

Hopefully Amorim has the guts to make the right call and let Altay finally have a run in the first team. If not, it feels like another Maguire situation from Ole's days - when the price tag (and possibly pressure from upstairs) meant the guy was untouchable, no matter how many mistakes he made and goals he gave away.

Well there's no pressure from Ratcliffe. He publicly said Onana is not good enough for United recently.

The crap thing, though, is that we have such a limited budget, and this is NOT a position we were supposed to cover on that budget. Under these circumstances, I can't see us making much money off selling him either...if anyone will even take him.

That was a BS push on our player but no penalty... then they score from it... yet this season if it was a United player we would have conceded a penalty and most likely a red card

I also want to comment about Thursday... how many players were doing WWE yet nothing is given but when it's United players it's immediately flagged as a penalty

I was in Newcastle this morning, I hear that there were loads of Man U fans around complaining that the police refused to allow them to leave the stadium during the second half, apparently they say it was police brutality forcing them to stay and watch…

Lol his standin shipped 4 goals, you’ve run out of options.

Ohnono had loads of games - let the stand in play as many then compare the stats and even the stand in will be better

you can't judge a player on one game - and we know that Ohnono is dreadful because he has had almost a full season and i would probably make more saves than him in that time

A full season? Hasn't he had 1 full season with ETH and now almost another season under RA?

Honestly from everyone's body language we wernt in the Newcastle game at all for numerous reasons

1. Focus on Lyon today
2. Focus on not getting injured
3. Rotation - Lindelof was poor and so was Eriksen both with no pace and about to be let go
4. Playing 11v9 with point 3

Yet we still lost Zirkzee to injury for the rest of the season.... damnit
