Yes you do, with your Lions-tinted glasses. Your posts have made this clear as day.

No, they haven't. Fannie is talking about players regardless of province. You keep bringing it in and accusing him even though you appear to be the one affected by it.

Maybe you didn't read all my posts, otherwise you'd know why I said this. Try harder.

With the choice of who should be picked and who shouldn't. After all, he's won 4 Currie Cups and a Super Rugby title, as opposed to Cray and fanie's records...

Ummm okay, Nick Mallet (and others) also questioned the selection of Pollard over Lambie for the Kings park test, guess they should also just accept that HM knows more than them? Are we not allowed to question coaches now?

Yes, but... he picked Pollard and Lambie... and Steyn. I thought this hot potato debate was the 1st choice selection between Pollard and Lambie?

Your opponents also improve, the game change, it’s a team sport. In our last games, the opposition challenged le Roux's high ball game and took away his room to allow him manoeuvrability, he needs to adapt (and I think this is something the Sharks will give him). We can't expect to win every game, what we can expect is to play consistently throughout the entire 80 minutes.

We had bloody good games against the All Blacks and Australians in the Championship, but we only played 60 minutes and I doubt that Kirchner or Steyn would had win the game.

The Pumas game in Durban, no Springbok played rugby on that day.

Yes it looked good, but we lost. Just because it looked entertaining doesn't mean we played better. Ever since we changed our style or injury list got much higher. We don't condition our players to play like that.

Through the eras we were always known to have a good place kicker, our rugby is geared for that. Also, our losses were closer when we played with Steyn and Kirchner (which means closer to winning).

Also, Willie never adapted. Everyone said his weak high ball game will be offset by his flair, the moment they shut him down he became a liability. We haven't seen his flair since, I can't even remember (talking Springbok games). I am sure Heineke will look at the facts and see that Steyn and Kirchner won him a whole lot more games than the other combinations did with there old traditional rugby.

I would love it if we could play like the All Blacks, but we just can't. We are not conditioned to play like that. They have 5 franchises that plays like that and can make like fore like substitutions in almost all positions when they need to. We have 3ish strong franchises every year, and they don't play the same style, so we can't make like for like substitutions. Even if we could, our players don't last as long as theirs do, probably because they are conditioned to play their way from ground phases.

Well done for keeping up. And you're the first one to mention Steyn, god knows why.

Good point. Carry on.

Oh, and I'm allowed to disagree with you.

Wonder what all the Lions players and guys like Marcell must be thinking today after the sham of yesterday ......

Incredibly rough one the said lads. The only consolation is they should take the currie cup, which in itself tells how frigging stupid the Bok selections are.

Pollard should not be there.

Neither should most of those who chose to ply their trade abroad. Very little forward thinking by the coach.

Because Heyneke picked him

You have lost your plot.

So he has. He picked 28 other players as well besides those 3.

Speaking of losing the plot, you're the only one who knows where you're going with this. And getting insulting is a clear sign of someone who doesn't have an argument. Thanks for playing.

Yes you are, and but accusing people of bias and saying "trust HM he knows more than you" is not a valid argument.

Many may disagree, but in my opinion our players are taught to be specialised as individuals. We also have one too many players holding onto the ball than passing. There are always players which think that they will either score or create an opportunity, when the opportunity presents itself down the line. It was magic to see Kriel and de Allende work the ball in their sets, we need more of that.

So clearly you don't agree with the Steyn pick... but you trust HM more than anyone else to make better picks (because of his track record), so he must be right about Pollard... and thus, he must be right about Steyn if you are going to stick with your argument, but you disagreed??

Who said I don't agree with the Steyn pick? I don't agree or disagree with any picks - except quotas, but we definitely can't blame the coach for that -, as it's only my opinion, as yours is yours.
