Damien a bit of a player. You see him chirping the chick at the medals presentation?

you guys.

this thread has more drama than a dam soap opera.

Pollard played badly.
Lambie was no good either.

the only person in the back line doing anything resembling a decent job was De Allende.

we got to the top 3 because of the forwards.
all back line points were due to gaps created by the forwards.
our mauls dominated.

drop the dam fight already because you are both wrong.
now that that is out of the way, can we have a moment of silence for Habana?
cracking under the pressure of breaking the record rather than just playing the game.

in case anyone did not see it, I used to be a forward and will forever think the backline does not do as much work...

Ashwin talking sense. The rest of the squad was mistreated generally in this tournament.

Habana is gonna rue those 2 try opportunities for the rest of his life.

Foreign coach, so that we can get past all the racist and provincialism whining.

Looking at the Sharks downward spiral after he left, and the fact that the Hurricanes were the best team in Super Rugby this year, perhaps John Plumtree isn't such a *** coach after all...

I would like all the Rugby experts who have contributed to this thread to please explain to me:

(1) Why would a coach bring on a player for 3 minutes??
(2) Why would that same coach for absolutely no reason at all, replace a player who is on the point for taking a record?

Of all the inexplicable decisions taken by the SA coach in this World Cup, the above two are the most perplexing of all.
I hope someone is able to provide some insight into the logic behind the above two decisions.
