The 'experts' claim the loss to Japan was the best thing that could have happened to the Boks. I disagree. The fear of losing again forced them to revert to their tried and tested game plan of grinding out victories. The loss completely destroyed their confidence and it reflected in their play.

One of our players of the tournament ....

Frans Malherbe !!

Agreed. One for the future. Can see him cementing his spot in the squad the way Jannie inexplicably did for so long. Very strong scrummager, and well discplined.

Malherbe is a WP success story. Though I have never seen Allister Coetzee as the best rugby coach as an option, his experience as coach has produced disciplined players under his supervision. Matthew Proudfoot has also been a good mentor. Malherbe and Kitshoff scrumming together is phenomenal.

The whole scrummaging rule book is a toss up to appearance.

As a start I don't like the scrum in Rugby. The scrum was only designed to award the chance for fat people to also play the game.

I can guarantee you that those alleged fat forwards are far more fit than you.

You sir are a backline player that kept knocking ball once us fatties have won the ball.

Stick to the 7's then if you don't like the 15 man code.

Yes, go watch rugby league if you don't like seeing any set pieces or technical aspects of rugby,
