Their designs have become tired, the McMerc SLR looked like it had a floppy unmentionable appendage dangling across the bonnet & I still harbour a grudge for them selling overpriced 200Es in the 80s without even the decency to fit alloys. Hubcaps FTL.

Those same 200E's are going for between R 6000 and R 15000 if you know where to look. Great value for a dependable car.

Yeah, I know... I mean, they've both got 4 wheels & lights and doors and stuff! Nah, I don't see 350z there but the back does look like it was designed by the same oke who penned the new BMW Z4.

I think the first few pictures tend to compress the proportions - side-on it almost has a Dodge Viper'ish silhouette.
