I'm one of the people affected by the following problem:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24080700
Basically, all the apps that I paid for claim that they need to be purchased again, regardless of whether I browse them on the Play Store on the web or on the device. This has been the case for four days now. I contacted Google Play Support, received a canned email response, replied again with a detailed email using screenshots to illustrate the problem, and received nothing. If you read that XDA thread, you'll see that none of the people who have been affected by this have received any substantive communication from Google at all.
Considering I've bought somewhere between 40 and 50 apps on the Play Store, this is pretty damn frustrating. I've heard stories before about Google's reputation for customer support, but it never really worried me because I consider myself a pretty tech savvy user, and I've always been fix any technical problems I encounter by Google searching or asking for help on a forum. But when you get a problem like this one, where the fault is entirely on Google's servers and there's nothing you can do to fix it yourself, then you start to appreciate the value of good technical support - or at least open communication.
