Oh the billing horror!!!!

Had a simple request. Told these fools I want to add their special to my existing contract.
Currently get 10+10 for R299. For additional R100, I can get additional 10 night surfer.

I literally crapped on their call centre agent to understand me and also crapped on the billing manager. He then told me he understood everything and got it right in the system. Oh yeah, as the billing manager, he got his part right. Come 01 Feb, no data but... invoiced for R100.

How thick can someone be. The request is simple and abides by your website special which you allowed for me.
I heard horrid stories about Telkoms billing but was a fairly happy chappy until this request.

It's like they get waking up,everyday wrong!!!???!!!! :confused:
Is that even possible?

Are you 100% sure you could add an additional 10GB night surfer? Where did you see this special?

I know if you took the 10GB Promo 5 for R199 product (discontinued) you could get the 10GB night surfer added for R100 per month.

EDIT: And the people who have served out their 10GB R199 contracts have been offered a renewed 10+10GB for R199 for 24 month contract or could continue with 10GB for R199 on a month to month basis.

This is how it works.
The initial promo is you get 10gb for R199/month.
They then added a midnight surfer option of 10gb for an additional R100.

This could be added and removed at will.

Now this new promo offers you this full package for R199 instead of R299

The best thing to do is to first cancel the bolt on MS option and then apply for the new promo.

Seems like their system is designed to keep you at the current debit instead of having to reduce you from R299 to R199 for the same data.

OK, found it.

There are two possibilities:

- its either that its a copy and paste issue where the information is incorrect and nobody has complained about it (least likely).
- its a billing and provisioning issue on their side and you will have to follow up and complain to the rep here.

Sorry but this is very clear to me on their site where they state the following immediately underneath the big 10GB + 10GB Internet it states 10GB + 10GB Internet(10GB Anytime Data and 10GB Night SurferData). Please don't blame Telkom Mobile for not being able to read their website correctly. :p

Billing Dept called me. But then again, the cake who debited my @$$ earlier this month and not give data, was also from billing. Update all a y'all on 01 March!!! Asked them to cancel additional 10GB and refund R100 invoiced this month.
