Why are you assuming that I will carry the weapon unholstered? When did I imply that?

Plus if I take it out of the I holster my intention would be to use it.

That was part of my statement regarding legal carry of firearms in public. If you make your own assumptions from my posts, that is not my fault.

Problem with a gun is you have to worry about the attackers and all the popcorn eaters in the background. What happens when you shoot your attacker, but the spectator behind also gets hit?

No, what you don't get is that if you pull your firearm out of its holster, it must be with the intention to use it immediately. It's the law too. You cannot walk around with an unholstered firearm. Anyone seeing you can then legally shoot you as they have no idea of your intentions.

That statement above. I would not be carrying it unholstered all the time. But if I see a perilous incident, then I take it out.

Plus that bold, does that mean I can use it on the attackers if they are carrying a gun but not shooting?

If you hit anyone other than the perp then you're in big trouble. You could even be in trouble for shooting the perp, less so but there's a risk.

It's illegal to carry a weapon that is unholstered in public. When it is out of the holster in public, the law states it has to be used. You come across someone with an unholstered firearm - What is your assumption? If you pull out your firearm and use it on him, you will be protected as if you assumed he was about to attack you or someone else.
A while ago i had an incident outside my yard where i went up to a Gti and it's occupants with my firearm cocked, in my hands pointing, ready to shoot. They sped off without me pulling the trigger.
So if my neighbour saw me i'm the target ? And why do i have to use it ? I was just prepared.

What exactly does the law say?
Is holding heat just in public to intimidate would be attackers qualify as using it? Pointing at some criminal or other considered use? Or do you mean if you pull out you must shoot something, anything?

Then the GTi comes back with the cops and points to you and they arrest you for pointing a firearm.

WINCHESTER RANGER T 9MM 127GR (50 ROUNDS) - SWATCO | Specialised Weapons & Ammunition

Get ammo that wont over penetrate.

One of the gun safety rules is you cant shoot if you don't know what is behind your target.

I must have fallen on my head to understand CD, he's saying that if you walk around gun in hand someone might assume you're about to use it, if your neighbour sees you approaching a potential situation he'd assume you're being threatened wouldn't he? Unless he is a dumbarse.

I was thinking I should buy myself a concealed knife as well when I go out walking. Like something I can hide in my belt but long enough to defend myself.

Anyone got any ideas?
Why conceal? That's like entrapment.
Why a knife? One of these at the ready in each hand. It has a decent battery. Prevention ...

Please make sure the batteries are charged.
