Up your gat50s is old.
Where the fukk does the law state that an unholstered firearm, HAS TO BE USED?It's illegal to carry a weapon that is unholstered in public. When it is out of the holster in public, the law states it has to be used. You come across someone with an unholstered firearm - What is your assumption? If you pull out your firearm and use it on him, you will be protected as if you assumed he was about to attack you or someone else.
That statement above. I would not be carrying it unholstered all the time. But if I see a perilous incident, then I take it out.
Plus that bold, does that mean I can use it on the attackers if they are carrying a gun but not shooting?
A while ago i had an incident outside my yard where i went up to a Gti and it's occupants with my firearm cocked, in my hands pointing, ready to shoot. They sped off without me pulling the trigger.
So if my neighbour saw me i'm the target ? And why do i have to use it ? I was just prepared.
"the law states it has to be used"
You broke the law my bruu... 2 years pa!
What exactly does the law say?
Is holding heat just in public to intimidate would be attackers qualify as using it? Pointing at some criminal or other considered use? Or do you mean if you pull out you must shoot something, anything?
I must have fallen on my head to understand CD, he's saying that if you walk around gun in hand someone might assume you're about to use it, if your neighbour sees you approaching a potential situation he'd assume you're being threatened wouldn't he? Unless he is a dumbarse.
Then you may point it at them again for pointing at you. Mexican standoff. Everyone just pointing guns at each other.

What if someone draws a firearm because of a potential lethal threat to him/her and the criminal then runs away?
Does the person then still HAVE TO USE THE FIREARM?
Or would it be OK to just holster it again without firing?
Liewe fok, I am out, good luck out there everyone, you are on your own.
Explained before I got to your post. See post #271.
@Cosmik Debris please provide the link in the law for this.
“When it is out of the holster in public, the law states it has to be used.”
No, your explanation means nothing, follow your own rules and provide a link to the law which states ‘When it is out of the holster in public, the law states it has to be used.’
Until you have done that, anything you post on this thread cannot be taken as fact.
I will wait…
Airwing and STF arrive...Then you may point it at them again for pointing at you. Mexican standoff. Everyone just pointing guns at each other.
I was educating you on the lawful use of firearms and that there are no such things as warning shots when your lower lip drooped and you said that you get it, don't intervene at all.
So I had to further your education. I Hope nobody ever attacks you.
I'm not going to bother this time. You can wait.
Until you provide links to the laws you refer to you really shouldn’t.
Follow your own rules, provide proof of what you claim please.
Just what I thought you would reply since you know you posted BS.
Anything you post on this subject should thus be ignored or taken with a large pinch of salt unless proof is provided.
You always bitch and moan about proof until you post BS claims, then you cannot bother… nothing has changed.
Please do not try educate anyone on the lawful use of firearms, but since you still will do with your oversize ego, people who believe you, both of them are on their own.
