Official Telkom Response

"Thami Msimango will rejoin Telkom as from 1 November 2007 after having resigned his position as the Company's Chief Technical Officer in March 2007. Further details about Msimango's future role at Telkom will be communicated in due course."

IMO good news for Vodacom - the less incompetent Telkodemonopolies-cronies that Vodacom has, the better it will be for Vodacom.

He is the guy who wanted Telkom WiMax to have a min speed of 2Mbps.

Strange, they don't say if he will be taking up the CTO position again, we will just have to wait and see...

He must be needing a holiday, which is why he is heading back to Telkom. Vodacom might have expected to much of him ........ like actually having to do some work.

I have to wonder how many of [searchforum]Vodacom Converged Solutions[/searchforum]' secrets he has been privy to, and if that was the purpose of his temporary floor crossing exercise...

The big fish only have one question/motto: "What’s in it for me!"
If the answer is to their benefit and only to THEIR benefit will they do ANYTHING!!!

That's exactly what I was thinking too. They seem to be Telkom's only real threat at the moment, aside from Neotel who don't really seem to be doing much. Hopefully Vodacom nailed him down with NDA's.

One can be sure that Vodacom did get him to sign NDAs, but Telkodemonopolies and its management are well known for consistently telling lies and thinking Telkodemonopolies is above the laws of the land, so an NDA would just be a piece of bogroll with which the LooLooPoo gets flushed.
