Olivedale Tower

Anyone experiencing problems (such as NO signal)?

I have an antenna trained on it (due to it being the closest tower with best signal - when it works).

However I have had absolutely no signal for the best part of an hour this morning.

HD stipulate that there is no problem.

utTracestar has so far not picked up the tower at all.

Yep it seems to be back up, but the signal is terrible.

When I spoke to them they were adament that there was nothing wrong. I spoke to them twice and there is no listing on the site of any issues.

Depends what ADSL package you are on, but on the whole it has the potential to beat ADSL, but not the consistency.

Agree 100%, I'm less than 1 KM from a tower with line of site and using IDM ( Internet download manager) in get on average 120KB/sec. The highest I've ever seen it go was 136KB/sec.

Strange

I am connected to the Olivedale tower aswell and I am based in Northworld. I am using a UTD modem with no external antennae and I play WOW on the US servers using no proxy and average 500-650 ms, some spikes now and then but nothing to be serious

Today is really bad for some reason. Getting on average -98db with regular complete drop off's (Olivedale is generally very stable albeit slow)
