I'm not too clued-up, so my opinion on this is probably garbage, but didn't the stats look better, because Zuma was "building" on what Mbeki left him?

That said, the inability of Ramaphosa to actually do anything to turn around the ship didn't help the already decline.
Stats looked better purely as a function of time and position on the slippery slope SA finds itself on.

Each ANC administration has done very little to turn this around and so we continue to slide.

Another angle - they should actually be commended for doing so poorly IF that now leads to the masses changing their vote.

One practical aspect to like about coalitions, each part becomes the watchdog over the other part. That's if they stop arguing long enough to actually do anything.

The only true answer is 0, which is not even listed, because he managed to flatten the curve.

be afraid, be very afraid, the ANC knows how to click and type on a tech forum.
And they are probably too ashamed of admitting it and will never say Yes I voted 5/5 but they just continue to vote for shyte because that's what was drummed into their heads.

I can understand the support although difficult but to vote that they were excellent.................just shows how fvcking stupid people are.

I was optimistic of Ramaphosa when he first took over. He said the right things but seemed like after covid, everything changed.

-1 for transnet failure
-1 for standing with Russia
-1 for standing with Palestine/taking Israel to international court
-1 for signing in nhi
-1 for increasing all the perks at ministers houses: generators, security, etc (If you are in charge of something, you should experience the services the same way everyone else does so you can understand the pain and suffering they cause)
-1 for how the Ramaphosa/ANC never takes accountability for their failures and still use Apartheid as an excuse

I'm not including Eskom because it was starting to fail before his time but its not like he improved anything.
Value of the Rand is useless.
I'm trying to think of a single thing that has improved but nothing has.

That's my thinking too, I compare it to how bad another Zuma term would have been
I was also thinking this, but then, just because we can't see the corruption as easily as with Zuma, doesn't mean it's not there. There are also many other things that went wrong.
1 it is.

Definitely poor, the last one (Casanova Zuma's) was awful.

Did he even do one thing right even if only by accident?

I was the same. Now I can't believe I was so naïve as to think a single person can change the corrupt course of the ANC.
