Did the chop have a Black Hat?
It was a lady. Her English was not good

I went to see them when the fellow at the ins co said they had a complaint about the wi-fi. He thought it was a password issue as he first let them choose a password, but found someone downloading movies at night, and changed it.

Then he asked them for the MAC addresses of the devices to be used. This took several goes as no-one understood the question. At least this made it secure

But Madam Station Commander did not like being asked for the MAC address of her phone and said it proved the system was useless. Who was I to argue with logic like that?

So they pulled the plug on the AP I had fitted and that was that. I advertised it in the classifieds here and it sold the same day

The City of Cape Town Metro Police have everything they need. Modern up to date equipment, state of the art highway patrol vehicles with ANPR cameras, body cams, the works. The only thing they're not allowed to do is investigate crimes. Unfortunately every arrested person they take into custody has to be handed over to the SAPS for further investigation and they take over from there. They're fighting hard though for the right to have a proper devolved police force.

No chance.... that glass already broke and the country already fell. It is now heading towards a hard crash and learning a valuable lesson about gravity and forces of nature. There is no more stopping the fall, reversing it or recovering from it. The ANC thought they can take over power and run the country and economy like a spaza shop. They were wrong.

And I get to say, "I told you so".
