Hi all
Is anybody else having trouble connecting (and staying connected) in the Fourways/Chartwell area? Getting many 619 errors (just have to keep trying until it connects), then a very slow link (about 4-5Kbps) and inevitably get dumped off the network after a while (and have to start all over again).
Reported this to Support via vodacom4me, and I noticed that the query simply moved from "pending" to "closed"! Repeated the exercise a few times to be sure, but that kept happening. Eventually I logged a query requesting senior intervention, and then I got a call to let me know that Vodacom is aware of the problem and working on it. A few days ago a sms came through to say that the 3G/GPRS problems are now resolved. Well, they're not!! And I don't have the energy to go through all of that again.
V3G, any ideas on how to go forward now? I certainly did not buy into this service to get dial-up performance and get ignored - I could have stayed with Telkom for that!
Please help
Regards
Graham
