online data backup

I currently have around 600gb of photos which are backed up to an external hard drive on an occasional basis. I now have a fibre line installed at home and am looking into the option of backing everything up online. However, running speed tests to both idrive and acronis show upload and download speeds of around 1.3Mbps (my fibre line is 100Mbps for upload and download). I am guessing part of the reason for the slow speeds is that the storage is hosted overseas. Does anyone know of a better online storage which offers greater speed?

I have a 100mb fibre line at home as well and use CrashPlan to backup to my external and their cloud servers. It keeps deleted files etc as well unless you tell it not to. Their data is unlimited. I sync at around 50mbps speed because I have uncapped and with the uncapped packages the upload speed is half of the download speed. Well worth $5 a month for the online portion and like I said, backup to an external as well which acts the same as the cloud backup, so pretty happy.

They have a 30 day trial you can see how their online storage compares

I use one drive for my photo backups. I get a TB of storage each year I renew my office package and because I get the 1TB, I gladly pay for my Office365.

My uploads on 20/20 fibre is 2.3-2.4MB which is full upload capacity.

i have tried crashplan, the sync speed appears to be around 2.5Mbps, did you adjust any settings to get your up around 50?
