Interesting but I'm not sure digg for example is mainstream enough to be a fair comparison, its much more technology oriented.

It was, briefly, in the beginning. Now it is just a mess of politics and redundant rubbish.

That is the inherent problem with a social sites like digg, the more popular it gets the worse it becomes.

Digg has a large "World & Business" section; I would recommend many peeps on this forum spend some time there.

In comparison a visit to google news reads like the front page of the KKK clan.
