I have read a couple of sites and it seems Bitdefender, Kaspersky and Norton appears good. I have seen a few billing horror stories with Bitdefender though.

Any recommendations considering want to install it on a pc and couple cellphones including my kids' cellphones, therefore parental controls is a bonus?

Norton offers a package that includes the parental control and the antivirus suite

Yes, thanks. That is the one I am currently contemplating to buy. Forgot to mention it. Maybe I can change the question to is there a reason I should consider something other than Norton...in the old days (early 2000) it was quite a resource hog for me.

So it seems most of antivirus softwares include parental control , it's best you try the trial versions of each company because they probably differ in what they can do on the parental control side
