ONSITE ADSL TK "pseudo" services

Anyone ever tried to get ADSL "ON SITE SERVICE"?
Last time I called, before I even stated telling that something MIGHT be wrong with my connection
I WAS TOLD IN THE MOST PATRONIZING WAY
" it will cost you X " if its not a HELLKOM problem!

Than they came, after waiting 3 days and calling PTA headoffice.
It wasn't a HELLKOM problem they concluded.
Who can proove them wrong, as they simply leave , but NOT without leaving one with a bitter reminder that their visit to the box down the road and our offices can cost one dearly.
It left us with heavy losses. For the next month some clever, I suppose " HELLKOM" people,
managed to download from our existing account 6 GB in 2-3 days at a rate of 49hours access PER DAY..
( I WISH I was able to do so and be in Rozebank and somewhere else in the same time). I must say with HELLKOM internet connection the days seem longer.

Has anyone noticed that when calling the COPRORATE HEAD OFFICE of HELLKOM in PTA ...it goes like this:
ring ring ...no reply
ring ring ...no reply
(last time till ring ring no 27 when someone said a very maid sounding "HELLO"
(a nice corporate way to answer ..sounded like the housewife was hanging the laundry and did NOT rush in from the garden to answer the phone.)
Even the 1023 answer has more of a corporate identity than their own head office at least it tells you WHEN it will answer you.
One imagines like 10 full time operators sitting there buzzing away...WRONG its the most dread full experience.

After waiting 3 days and being more than cheezed off I got EXCELLENT service after screaming a foreign accent that I am an attache of an embassy ..Time the HELLKOM truck was in front of our house 15 min later hurray...but the 6GB download that followed was NOT FUN ..

My most amazing and personal service oriented ISP "Techcomp" ( here I finally got a chance to give them online credit) gave me an other account for the rest of the month.
Within 3 days it was capped with downlaod over 5GB again...
WHO & HOW THEY DO IT is still a mystery to us.

We were able to PRINT OUT the usage that showed 49hrs and other number past the 24hr mark but naturally never to pin point a culprit.
That month we had to start 4 accounts to keep out of the CAP problem as we run the online shop.
SO BEWARE!!
Calling ANYONE from HELLKOM into checking your line can be sadly said, a RISKY business that might just add gravity to your already slow or inexistant ADSL connection.
 
They're downloading on my account aswell, but the other strange thing is adsl accounts are magically created using my surname and initials. I'm not paying for it though, or so the bill says.
 
So we are not the only ones?
Can you situate, when it started and how long it went on? How did you solve this problem with your ISP?
I want to add (in case anyone missunderstood my mentioning my ISP "TECHCOMP" , I am an end user and not an IT geek.)
The obvious would be to blame the ISP as they are responsible for the accounts security etc. and TK is never responsible.(praise the lord they are all saints)
TECHCOMP (with whom we are since 5 years) with downtime ONLY linked to generalities like last night 23pm to 11am this morning (as IS) has and always & is always VERY VERY HELPFUL and picking up the phone at any time24/7 and really trying to find out WHERE the problem is. That is why I like smaller ISP better.
They gave us 4 other access accounts one after the other @ no cost while the problem was going on.
(The GB were downloading at speed that were unbelievable!)
The whole matter subisded after +- 1 month 4 accounts later.
The most amazing thing is that is started EXACT the night AFTER TK came into our premises around 7PM, telling us THEY HAVE CHECKED the BOX at the end of the street (even before coming to us) and there is nothing wrong there .
Than the TK man plugged his own laptop onto our Router
checked his own e-mail ( I did not see him doing any othere special procedures!) or using some fancy software and he resumed by saying. Nothing wrong here either and left.( they were 2 men)
We NEVER GOT A BILL TO PAY!
Unusual, as TK said " If its not OUR PROBLEM you will have to pay." So if there was nothing wrong thee, why did we not get a bill, and what did the man do at the box ?
The next morning I was capped with a 6GB downlaod ( this was the beginning of the month and our average monthly is 1-2GB sometimes 2.5 but rarely 3GB.
Anyway no point going on rambling about it BUT WE ARE MOST CONCERNED to ever all the ADSL support services onsite again be it free or not..as the headaches that followed were beyond any price.
