Good day,
I need some advice or help. I did a diagnostic test on my car and the error code was p0443(purge valve). But the problem is my model don't have a purge valve but the electric plug is there. The electric plug was bypassed with a resistor and it looks like it was factory made like that because it has a bypass cap on. Now it looks like the resistor blew so I am thinking that's why it is giving me the error but I don't know what the ohms are because the the resistor is burn black. Any help or advice please. Because my car is high on fuel and I want to get the management light of my dash.

I could yes but didn't try it yet. So I must get the resistance and buy a resistor according to the resistance I read?
I suppose so, cause the manual would more than likely have a range, eg something like 10-30 Ohm that would work.

Have you checked the manual ?

Surely there is a replacement part for this? Post picture OP.

If this is a "factory hack", surely a call to the dealer service dept would help ?
It is a part and it will have a part number and dealers and aftermarket part suppliers will have it, I don't understand the conundrum OP has created for himself.

I was thinking maybe should buy the purge valve for my model and fit it without fuel pipes. Just to see if the management light goes off.

As it's currently connected now what did they do with the fuel pipes?
