I own a Opel Corsa lite 2004 model.

Since Friday when driving home from work it started shaking in low rpm when cruising. Like 1.5k to 2k revs. The shaking is so heavy that I need to push the clutch to stop. This also happens when slowing down without pressing the petrol at all. As soon as it start to get to 1.5-2 rpm its shakes (Almost like a constant miss fire).

1st gear - Shakes
2nd gear - Shakes
3rd gear - Minor shaking -not really noticeable
4th gear - Fine
5th gear - Fine

Replaced the fuel filter and spark plugs 1 month ago.

I replaced the spark plug cables today but still no luck.

I would greatly appreciate any advice.

If it shakes that heavily I would start looking at engine/gearbox mounts as well as things like the clutch/flywheel assembly etc.

Mechanically it could be any of the mountings or the clutch.

Electrical issues wise it could be the fuel pump relay, the coil pack or the crank sensor.

The last two should be more misfires though than violent shaking but it could still be them.

I found the problem. There is a small pipe that goes to a sensor near the windscreen. It had a small perish in it and blew out air. Just cut of top part and stick it back on and smooth again. Its scary to think such a small thing can cause so many problems. Anyway I have no idea what sensor it is.

Thanks for the suggestions.
