Opel Corsa - Starting Problem

Original problem solved.

No alarm or immobilizer unless there's some OEM system built in.

Had a similar issue with the Corolla and it came down to a faulty relay in the fuse box. It needed some wiring done thereafter instead of having to buy a new relay. There's relays for the lights and the starter and other gizmos in the fuse box in the engine bay.

I only have a fuse box inside the car at the bottom right of the dashboard near the footwell that I am aware of.

Had a look at those last night, but it was in the dark and almost rain. Hopefully on Saturday I can take a proper look at all of it, never know maybe there's another box in the engine bay.

You'll have to get an auto electrician to test the relay if pulling them out and cleaning the contacts don't work. They look like square fat fuses.

Everyone i know who had problems starting an opel corsa says it was the "coil".

a common starting issue with Opels of the older Gen 92-97 odd is usually the fuel relay... having said that it doesnt help you in any way but i just though i would mention it.

you should maybe just try a new set of bulbs for your headlight, its probably the easiest place to start eliminating causes.

Okay people it's no longer a starting issue. Let's more along.

It's a headlight issue now. And the bulbs are find checked them.

Didn't get a chance this weekend to investigate further but the relay is all that remains.

Hay All , I have a Opel corsa 1.6i Gsi 2002
Yesterday it was running untill i got home , it started to get less petrol and i had to push the petrol pedal more to get petrol , then the car died , since then i checked my petrol pump , i replaced it already, but that wasnt the problem i tested the old petrol pump its stil working 100%, my car does get spark so it wont be the coil pack , one thing i saw yesterday is i bought 4 spark plugs and i replaced it , on of the spark plugs broked of in the midle, that same spark cable broke and the one next to those one , so i bought new cables also , i push a screwdryer in the fuel rail thingi ,, there is no petrol coming through

Any advice ???
