Hi All

I have a little bit of a dilemma here.

As we now procure new laptops and desktops, the recovery software can either be downloaded (free download from manufacturer/supplier if you're lucky), or you have to order recovery media (costs $$$).

Now, I want to consolidate all the recovery media onto one server, but I want to have something with a web interface, where you can choose which recovery media you want, and it'll be downloaded to your desktop (or alternative download location) from where you can write it to USB media (DVD or USB memory stick) for further use.

The aim is to prevent the loss (and walkabout) of the original install media/files, and to prevent media damage as well.

Anybody have an idea of what I can use for this purpose?

TIA

Forgive my ignorance but wouldn't it just be an FTP IIS page? - unless you want a s****y front end for it?

Windows ISO images are easy-peasy, but with Lenovo recovery you have a ton of files all over the place.

Maybe it'll work if I 7-zip the Lenovo stuff up into one archive...
