I'm doing a writeup on my blog about my experience and pitfalls with Openbox, things I have done, what worked and what did not.
Countless hours of research on the net in one blog if you must. I blog my progress for myself to keep record if ever I need to do this again.

Are you guys interested in reading this or should I just keep it to myself?

There is not all that much to write about a wm like openbox, setup rc.xml , menu.xml , install xcompmgr , tint2, and nitrogen , add to startup and done

You are right, there is not THAT much to write, however xcompmgr should not be installed, it is horribly unstable and unmaintained, and cairo composite manager is just as unstable, they do not handle window switching and tab switching within a browser at all.

I'm going to also cover all the scripts I use and why, random wallpaper, keyboard mapping, auto-mounting devices, general tips-and-tricks, etc.
Let me know if any of you are interested.

Maybe you should write then iam curious to find out what composite manager you use , been using xcompmgr for 2-3 years with out a hitch
