You are currently using the port that OpenBrowse runs on.

Please close the program using the port, or change the port within OpenRouter.

I'm getting the same thing..Only started today though..I closed all my applications that were using the internet, and changed the listening port..No luck though.International is pretty much dead. That aside, is it just me or have speeds been super slow the last few days? Seems like it's a constant up and down thing - speeds are great for a day or two, then unusable for the next couple of days.I'm talking about worse than dial-up  Is this happening to anyone else?

If you have not done so already, kindly email:

helpdesk@openweb.co.za for a resolution.

OpenBrowse has a large number of servers, with alot of excess, unused bandwidth. The service is no near full. If a client is experiencing problems, it is an individual problem that will be solveable.

Because OpenBrowse relies on a software application, whenever you change something on your PC, like installing a new firewall, or changing current rules, updating windows etc, your OpenRouter could be affected.

It would be a natural response to blame OpenWeb as the cause, however, from personal experience, it is 95% of the time a change that has occured on the clients machine.

Of course, any network has its downtime and problems, and OpenWeb is no exception. We however have very strict monitoring policies on our side the warn us of the following changes:

1. Bandwidth Pipe Reaching Capacity
2. Circuit / s Down
3. Projected problems
4. Server / s Down.
5. etc.

Due to these policies, we are able to quickly, and effectively resolve any problems we might have, and implement our backup solutions.

I would like to emphasize that if you have a problem, please email helpdesk@openweb.co.za first. It is not very helpfull posting it on the forums, as we cannot monitor the forums as well as our internal support system. If a resolution is not derived from emailing helpdesk, I personally invite you to make a public post on the forum, as this forum is an extremely valuable client rights tool, so to speak.

I thank you for your time.

Kind regards
MrBEEP
