hi Guys

Would you recommend doing this so one can move between ISPs quickly when unhappy with the service ?

Anyone that has done this, let us know how it worked for you in terms of costs and possible problems to look out for. Which ISPs did you use?

Thanks!

Wut? You can use any ISP on an Openserve Fibre line. It's like ADSL, you just log in with different username and password.

Exactly, but most Openserve ISPs sell bundled deals where you buy both the Openserve fibre line and their data from them. Would it be better to only buy the line from one ISP and the data from another ISP ?

Yes but....right now you cannot rent only the fibre line from Telkom/Openserve. I think thats what OP wants to know.

So, @OP. Choose your favourite ISP and get the fibre line through them. Telkom requires a 2 year contract; others have no contracts, but do have early termination penalties (because you get a lot of stuff for "free").

On unlimitedhome package I had the option of contract or month-to-month. I'm definitely not on a contract.
