Openserve launches free fibre and ADSL speed upgrades

Openserve has announced that it will upgrade the fibre and ADSL line speeds of its customers for three months, effective from 1 May 2020.

"Responding to market changes as a result of COVID-19, Openserve fibre and DSL customers will enjoy upgraded data speeds for a three-month period, effective 1 May 2020," the company said.

Just imagine the guy with a short last mile and with 1Mbps adsl line. That upgrade would be like a 7 minute orgasm

Well Axxess sells a 1Mbps adsl line for R65 which will be 10Mbps for 3 months. The 10Mbps line is R415. That is a R1050 saving in the 3 months the speed is upgraded. Bargain!

Lol these upgrades are a joke for higher end users.

Trying to cash in on the publicity of the other providers but too late to the party and not much benefit, unless you're on a lower package...

Godammit! I literally PAID to double my line for the lockdown on Monday because OpenServe were not joining the party for free upgrades and there are no other back-end providers in my area..
