I have a Netgear D6200 modem/router that's my current main AP. I'd like to set up OpenVPN on my network so that I can access Netflix on my Xbone and other devices that don't do native VPN. I'm not interested in accessing my network from elsewhere, so I really just need an OpenVPN client sitting on my router.
Amazon has a good deal on refurbished R7000's ($100 at http://a.co/hrX302u) and I'm tempted to buy it because it supports DD-WRT and OpenWrt. And since the R7000 has a broadcom chip, just like the D6200, I figured they'd play nice.
But I don't want to drop over $100 for a router that won't be able to do what I want.
So is it possible to set up OpenVPN on a R7000, using a D6200 as the modem, in order to access US Netflix on my Xbone?
