I run a slightly complicated setup with two sign on accounts (ADSL), one telkom line and one router with two PCs on an ethernet LAN. My ISP is OpenWeb and while we occasionally have speed issues these are infrequent and short in duration. As a rule both PC's download at 180-210KBPS on a 2Mb line which we consider adequate but have nothing to reference it against. Is that a good speed and should we be as satisfied as we usually are?
Kindest.

I too have a 2 mbit line and I would not complain about that.
On good days, which are rare these days, I see 224 KB/sec

You're maxing your line. Be happy.
