Opera Mini Not Working on Edge

Since yesterday Opera Mini doesn't seem to work on my Motorola Milestone (Android 2.1) when using a normal EDGE connection. It simply doesn't load any pages. You can see there's some activity on the EDGE connection but then Opera Mini just says "Connection Failed. Unable to connect. Please review your connection settings". I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and with the latest reinstall I had to connect via Wifi to actually get the install to work. On a WiFi connection Opera Mini works fine, but when I turn wifi off and try to connect using MTN's data connection (EDGE) it's dead.

The native browser an other apps on the phone works fine on the EDGE connection. It seems only Opera Mini is affected. Nothing has changed since I last managed to use it (no other app installs, setting changes etc.).

I'm completely stumped. Anyone have any ideas?

Go to Opera Mini, then Settings -Advanced -Protocol, change it to HTTP, see how it goes then, if that doesnt work then report at Opera's forum, you may not be the only one facing this issue.

Changing the protocol to HTTP doesn't work. Will try to post on the Opera forum later on.
