I am still uploading more products but would like some feedback in general as to my current website and whether it is something you as a community might consider using in the future. Website link is www.psychodata.co.za

(if this goes against the rules please remove post - not trying to advertise but more get public feedback on the general website)

Does not inspire confidence at all.
Get a professional or go look up some YouTube tutorials.

Numerous issues.

Your logo is absolutely horrible - Comes across as Chodata at first glance.

Your front page scroll of images scrolls too fast.

There is literally nothing on your home page that says what your site is about.

Site generally looks okay - But you would never get anyone to register on it any buy from it with the overall look and feel.

Quick assessment to my liking (purely from a design/colours/photography point of view):

Homepage (the most important page of all):
Footer = :thumbsup:
Fonts = meh (too small)
Logo =:thumbsdown: You're not selling timber products!
Top slider = remove white background (make images fit perfectly)
Bottom slider =
Slider speeds =
Navbar = meh (try different colours or a different shade here, also try bold like Builders Warehouse)

Product pages
Product layout =

Mobile layout
Everything is a bit too wide - more white space on the sides

PS: Your site loads extremely fast!

overall, not bad, but needs refinement for sure, I agree the logo is so out of place, you need to bring it in with the times and have something scalable. The main menu items and footer font/casing is not the best imo, align it to the sub pages. On the sub pages the brand logos aren't centered. imo also make contact us etc available in the upmost menu bar

On mobile (Opera): Undefined error while trying to add a second item to the cart. After a few tries it finally allowed me to add the second item.
The location info on the Google Maps button seems incorrect. It launches a new window with the map of SA, and not a specific address. Is this deliberate? I was curious to know where this company is situated.

Stop serving mixed content/ non ssl content on an e-commerce site.

That's just crazy...

Have updated the address location...will test the cart with opera...thanks for the feedback

Still can't access. Using Brave browser, but this looks like its being blocked at Afrihost.

The site loaded once, I clicked on about us, and now it doesn't load from my IP anymore (UK)

I then tried accessing via ninjaproxy, it loaded, clicked about us and some thing happens. Doesn't load after that. Weird.

IP being blacklisted or something? Even fails to connect with wget so some network issue.

The main problem for me is that it looks exactly like 100s of online shop scam sites, they all just use these generic Opencart themes and copied and pasted terms and conditions.

-Still working on the font size
-Redone the logo to something more appropriate - might redo again later to be more professionally done
-Top slider white background should be resolved
-Will look into trying a different colour for the Navbar (have included contact us link in Navbar based upon feedback)
-Still need to look at the mobile side

Thanks again for you feedback - was very helpful

Sort out SSL for all pages not just logged in session if that is what you are going for right now.

Ideally a reliable CDN such as cloudflare free account would be enough to take care of everything.

Clouflare CDN also have some nice freebee optimizations that you could benefit from once you either start to get more traffic and help as front facing firewall for those pesky fkers who attempt to trash new websites that popup.

Since you are hosting on Afrihost its an even bigger must to throw cloudflare in the mix. I wouldn't trust afrihost not to have some sort of exploits that eventually get figured out and you would be made aware via cloudflare of any such attempts.

ps. Not sure if you are simply running it from your home fibre or afrihost hosting. I assumed its afrihost hosting.
