K, I Can't choose between these two

GPU: Dual 8800GT xfx Extreme in SLI
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad LGA775 - 2.40GHz Quad Core

or

GPU: Single GT xfx Extreme
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad LGA775 - 2.6GHz Quad Core

These are the specs I already have

Case: Antec 900
PSU: OCZ 700W (SLI ready)
Motherboard: ASUS Intel P5N32-E SLI Nvidia 680i SLI
Heatsink: Thermalright iFX-14 Aluminium CPU Cooler <-- She is a monster!
Memory: 4G of OCZ nVidia SLi Ready Edition - DDR2-800MHz

NB: Monitor is a TV. Its specs are:
Features

* 19.0 inch wide screen
* 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) resolution
* 700:1 contrast ratio
* 160 degree /160 degrees horizontal/vertical viewing angles
* 8 ms response time
* Virtual Dolby and BBE sound
* Inputs include TV (antenna/cable), S-Video, Composite, Component, DVI Digital Link, analog RGB and more
* Picture-in-Picture (PC mode)
* Compatible with PC, Macintosh, Sun Microsystems

No need to worry about fans... Got 6 of them.

Why would you even consider the second option?

You could easily overclock the 2.4Ghz Quad to 2.6Ghz.

I've heard a lot of bad things about 8800GT in SLI; power consumption, Bottle necks and Frame rate decrease.... especially on a 19inch screen.

I see...

Well there's someone who posts in the Hardware/Software section that has 8800GTs in SLI... Maybe you could find him and have a chat ;)
