Opinions : Choose a phone

Hi guys

I have a choice between the following phones:

• HTC One M9
• Huawei P9
• Samsung S6 Edge
• Sony Xperia X
• Sony Xperia X Compact
• Sony Xperia Z5
• Xiaomi Mi4
• Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro

The HTC One is my first choice. Yes, its older and lacks a fingerprint scanner, but I've always loved HTCs.

Otherwise, I'm open to any views/advice.

but why is the S6 on the list instead of the s7?
why no LG's on the list?

(I love ht HTC as well, but there is no support in SA, the risk is too great)


it does look like budget is the main concern based on the list, so that means the p9 is most likely the p9 Lite, if that is the case then the Xiaomi Mi4 is the best option.

the price range is pretty huge though...

Pretty much agree. If I were asked to make an on the spot choice, it would have to be the P9. Newest flagship, insane specs, will be supported for a while, value for money.

Also the duel camera on the back is really good.

It's a top choice not just based on the list.

Personally it's number 5 on my phones available right now list
