Hi there so first off let me just say that I'm on a budget here:

I just want your opinion on which one of these 2 displays would be the best for my computer , I use my computer for gaming mainly but it doesn't have a gtx Titan now so I don't think I can call it a 'gaming rig' just yet. Anyway I would really appreciate it if you can just give me your opinion on witch one of these 2 monitor/TV you think would work the best with gaming and also if you think there is a better one out there let me know ;)

Samsung 32EH5000 32" Full HD LED TV http://www.loot.co.za/product/samsung-32eh5000-32-full-hd-led-tv/dggr-2775-g160

Go for the pc monitor. I used a tv for about 2 years, pc monitors just feel better and have higher pixel densities. I'm currently using a Dell 29" ultra wide and its fantastic.

Definitely the monitor...

Using a TV for gaming is almost never a good idea.
Also Samsung would claim a 100hz clear motion rate but the true refresh rate is half of that.

The monitor would have better color, and response

Buy a monitor, not a tv.

Secondly 1080p sounds a bit low for 27"+, one would rather look at 2560x1440 at that size I suspect. A decent 24" 1080p monitor would be a better option I reckon.

Using a TV instead of a monitor is crap, I'd advise against it.

I'm guessing since he doesn't have a very powerful GPU, 2560x1440 might cause some performance issues.

Man I've been using a Samsung 32d550 for years, ordered a Dell U2715H a few weeks back, will have to see which I prefer when it arrives. I couldn't be sure without first doing a comparison myself.

OK so now it narrows it down on to the AOC and Dell Ultrasharp monitor , is that extra aspect ratio and extra pixels really worth the extra money ?

The premium warranty is worth the price tag :)

Even if 1 pixel is not displaying correctly dell comes to you and replace/fix the problem.

That's why I said "A decent 24" 1080p monitor would be a better option I reckon."

If you have a kuk gpu you are not gonna be pushing anything beyond 1080p so rather get the best 1080p monitor you can afford which will be in smaller sizes 23-24"
