I see its only black kids, dont coloureds, indians and whites qualify?
Now thats a racist as it comes, wish shed just **** off

What are you talking about? A link would be helpful.

Screw racist - it's blatantly sexist!

I was thinking the same thing. If some other celebrity had to open a school for boys only, there would be a major sh!tstorm.

You mean like "The Tom Cruise School for Boys interested in joining cults that worship aliens and demand all your money"?

P.S I don't have a clue what Scientology is actually about, I just remember reading that there are aliens involved?

Haha Tom Cruise is off his knockers. I remember an episode of South Park mocking him and Scientology :D

Oprah's school is for "previously disadvantaged"
Im sure you've been in this country long enough to know what that really stands for

What abt First for Women Insurance? That's abt as sexist as it gets..

What my thought was, racism had gone???

How u gonna explain this to our kids????????
All Kids are born equal, and all deserve equal oppertunity.

I made a post many months ago,"Kids only know colour when its pointed out to them"

So we as "Adults" should try change the way we see things.
I was just upset that its only black kids.
Many whites and Indian ,coloured, chinese, kids dont have education.
I think its a disgrace that we as a country have to have American Celebs to actually do the job,and at the same time be racist>

It's her money. What's the fuss... rather NO school..?

Sheesh, she's providing an opportunity to the kids who need it most and would otherwise have the least chance of a good education.

Get over yourself.

We need a thread like this for BoysTown as well! It's really unfair that they will only accept troubled young boys. :)

Any bets on how long the school will stay in shape before they start throwing stones throught the windoes, and gansters sell drugs on the premises.

It's her money, I dont see a problem, if she can do it anybody can do it, you can make your student selection based on race and gender, good news.
