Optout MMS's

Why am I getting MMS messages with optout instructions (Vodacom contract)? This is the second in 2 days (2 different companies).

e.g. PnP GoBanking with SMS OPTOUT 1729 to 31234 at the bottom.
Is there some new MMS money making scheme?

I can't stand any form of opt out advertising whatsoever... To whom do I whine?

The companies concerned I guess. Hard to tell where they got your number from.

Exactmobile is the originator, I guess on behalf of Pick n Pay Go Banking.

Unsubscribing cost R0.50. An amount that I resent having to pay. I see this is limited to R1 by the WASPA code of conduct - IMHO it should be entirely free.

The R1's could quickly pile up if a lot of companies have your number . . .

Some people should get real jobs.

Then save yourself 50c and lodge a complaint using the online form :)
