An exciting opportunity is available for IT Technical Specialist to join the the Retail Systems Operations area of TFG Infotec, focusing on support of Distribution systems. If you enjoy the challenge of technical troubleshooting, are committed to customer service and have excellent communication and problem solving as well as coding skills, you should consider applying for this position.
Key performance areas:
Performing analytical assessments and investigations - either to code, or business processes
Ensuring that calls are resolved in accordance with the requirements of the relevant SLA
Identifying and/or resolving root causes for issues
Requirements:
A relevant tertiary qualification
Proficiency in Oracle Database version 9 or higher
Experience in PL/SQL, SQL Plus Programming, and Unix Shell scripting would be beneficial
Proven working experience in the System Development Life Cycle (coding, testing and implementation)
Experience in Retail / Distribution Centre processes and distribution / logistics
Experience in end to end system testing (UAT, integration and volume testing)
Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and the implementation thereof
Experience with Manhattan WMS would be beneficial
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Excellent listening, probing and documentation skills
Professionalism
To be a self starter with the ability to work independently
To be a team player
To be able to pay close attention to detail
To be able to work under pressure
Good planning and time management skills
To be reliable
