I wish most people would read your comment on its truthfulness. I'm a trainee where I work, started later than the other trainees who earn twice what I get and most of them can only get by towards the end of the month. Absolutely bad spending habits.

I wonder how easy that monopoly money of theirs (Orania) can be counterfeited. With central banks spending considerable resources on anti-counterfeiting measures in bank notes I can't see a tiny economy like theirs having the means to pull it off.

If one crunches numbers, you realize R 22k is nothing.

However, I suspect he doesn't have a bond to pay, and obviously not a car repayment too. So there is that. Maybe also not paying school fees. Car, Bond and school fees alone run to about 18k easily. I don't know how single parents make it in this day and age.

Public schools are generally R500 to R1400 a month for primary schools and high schools R800 to R3700pm depending on area. I guess they move to those areas?
