I know this is off topic but I would like to get my hands on SUSE 9.1 Pro - you can install it via FTP but with MyWireless, that would take probably what - 20 days???

Anyone who can help?

Uhm .. have a look at Is's local mirror ... I saw personal edition iso there ... pulled it in at 12K average ... not too shabby ...

Yeah, the best Linux Desktop inmho...that's why I have been interested in looking at the Pro edition. Always used Redhat, Fedora and Mandrake but I must say, SUSE has come a long way and you can see why many European Co's are deploying SUSE on the desktop.

No offence to Obsidian but the wholesaler of Novell in SA charges R 490.00 ex VAT as opposed to R 900.00. Now if Obsidian does the support, yeah I'd go for it. I am not trying to get away from paying, I've already ordered it from the wholesaler but stock is going to take 14 - 16 days and I need to have set up a test environment before the 27th.

So, that's why I asked if anyone can help me till I get me own.

Donovan, what's Gentoo aimed at? Must say, I saw the new Knoppix today - it rocks.
