It's a ****ing disgrace.

I cannot believe these people will not administer their own relief funds.
 
And how does one avail one's self of this assistance? Hopefully not via SARS

It is a fund where the money will come from many businesses and people. You can't exactly expect every donor to sit on a committee. I'm sure they had or will have lots of say on who the trustees and management are. And if they want to decide where and how the money's are disbursed they could just do it out of their own pockets.

I am talking about the money donated by Rupert.

I will not be donating a penny to that charity. I will rather give it to people close to me who need the assistance. Financial assistance based on racial quotas is sick, and just demonstrates that this government's priority is not with the national as a whole, but for only those who are included under the definition of BEE.

It is not confirmed whether or not the purported document is fake or not. I doubt many businesses would donate to a fund which is going to base who gets helped on racial quotas. Letting businesses fail just because they're white owned is stupid and hurts the very people they claim they're trying to help.

Would bet against this being a ploy by the so called anti WMC elements to try and sow discord.
 
This is SA. Why are people surprised? Of course there would be BEE small print when gov is involved

Exactly - many of those businesses would be employing black people who will end up hurting the most.

If it's fake or not, I still stand by what I said. The Government has failed in every single sphere within which they operate. They are mired in corruption from every level. My taxes are wasted on frivolous ****. They are throwing money into a black hole.

Give to people in your communities. Keep paying for services you are not using. Feed those who don't have food. Keep paying your domestics / gardeners, etc. That will do far more good.
 
Any small business owner here want to submit an application and let us know if this is true or not?
