Since when has education and qualifications stood in the way of "jobs for pals" with the ANC

Outcry over Tshwane [Pretoria] metro police boss

Within hours of being appointed Pretoria's metro police boss on Friday, opposition parties were claiming that Mahlomola Daniel Manganye could not legally command the Tshwane Metro Police because he does not have a Traffic Diploma and a Municipal Police Diploma.

They were also claiming that the vacancy was never advertised within the municipality.

Tshwane metro mayor Gwen Ramokgopa announced at a press conference in the Tshwane metro police headquarters that Manganye had been appointed Strategic Executive Director (SED) of the community safety department.

The department comprises of the metro police, fire brigade and the disaster management centre.

This is a professional position, hence the outcry, whereas Cele's is a political position.

Interesting to see that the mods have now taken to editing posts of those who chose to make generalising and racists comments! I assume the edit was accompanied by a warning to the party involved! The mere removal of the word scumbags does not change the sentiment expressed in the OP!

Perhaps BTTB would be so kind as to clean up the rest of the thread too where references are made to the advantages of being an ANC member etc. Actions speak louder than mere words about clamping down on racism.

Assuming this is a response to the above

Explain to me: How does it clamp down to racism if we picked up that all the corrupt government officials are members of the ANC and the most of them are unqualified to their jobs?, I would be happy to apologize if you can point out the direct racist connotations.

It should be apparent to even the most dim amongst us that most members on here seem to automatically assume all ANC members are black, therefore the derogatory comments are racist. However, feel free to apply another term you feel is better suited for the common practice of assuming all ANC members are inferior based purely on their political allegiance.

What qualifies a person to be a politician ? An education ? Oops, we didn't seem to really offer than before 1994 to black people.

And it goes without saying that all government officials who are corrupt are A.N.C members. The A.N.C is in government ! What other possible government officials could there be other than A.N.C ones ?

so you can't explain then and are trying to make ridiculous assumptions
regardless let me explain to you: Employing people without qualifications and skills in positions which they are unqualified or not ready for result in mismanagement and in most cases financial misconduct,

and they had ample of opportunities to get a new education post 94, that excuse simply doesn't cut it anymore.

BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

So you don't think that those corrupt ANC cronies are scumbags ?

What made you think that such criticism is reserved for one particular race group ?

The fact that your original post was edited by a moderator should tell you that the tone of your post was unacceptable. Unfortunately it seems that the post was merely edited and no warning was forthcoming which unfortunately adds some credence to the arguments that have been put forward that there is indeed a bias on this forum.

You are attempting to change the sentiment expressed by your original comments. Your exact words were "since when has education and qualifications stood in the way of "jobs for pals" with the scumbag ANC". You said nothing about the corrupt ANC officials being scumbags! You were tarring all of the party's members with the same brush. Of course this has become totally acceptable on here so you felt comfortable doing so.....
