Use all the gym equipment e.g. spinning bikes to generate electricity. All that energy goes to waste.

Acid water means you have to take precautions against equipment getting damaged by corrosion, usually this won't be a problem with the correct and proper engineering skills.

But they'll probably use mild steel as it's cheaper and pocket the rest...
