Over 1 million driver’s licences could be expired next week

Several parties have called on the Department of Transport to extend the deadline for expired licences in South Africa.

This BS just needs to be done away with permanently.

I've now had to go back for a third time to take finger prints because each time you go check if your licence is ready, it was never printed and they never bothered to notify you, and you have to go through the whole schlep of waiting in the queue again...

The queue at the Hillstar driver's licence centre was out the door and around the building yesterday. At 4.00 sharp they closed the doors and crowds of people (I think over 100) left

The car-park was chock a block, Some people parked on the pavement and were all ticketed

It rained until 2.00 today. No shelter there
