That's africa, like savage locusts ... strip it all and take take take while never adding anything
This is due to Africa's leadership, who base their pipe dreams and philosophies largely on Marxism.

Karl Marx himself was a lazy, dirty filthy racist fscker. He was too lazy to take a bath, leave alone shave. He even evaded military conscription through a vague diagnosis of a "weak chest", despite partying it up all the time with late nights, alcohol, poor diet and chain-smoking, even spending time in jail for being drunk and disorderly. Marx never worked a day in his life, always sponging off other people who did, and never paid his maid, even after fathering a child with her. He never provided anything for his family, leave alone food, to the extent that 3 of his children died of malnutrition (and another two committed suicide). His written ideas of a revolution through the murder of the wealthy class were adopted by Lenin, Stalin and Mao (amongst others), who killed and starved millions because of it.

Does this sound familiar? Anyone you know?

Sounds very South African to me.

*let alone

*let alone

Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary of English Usage says, however, that “leave alone” is occasionally seen in British English, where it “seems to be only a rather rare variant.”

Just because it isn't colloquial does not mean that it is wrong.

And what is it with all of the grammar Nazis these days?

Steal and destroy - normal behaviour.

It's a 'tard thing.
TBH, there is a lot of poor grammar on this forum, but "'n goeie begrip het 'n halwe woord nodig" and I continually have to remind myself that not all people have English as a first language. I work for a global organisation and I am most grateful that most try to speak English, because my own French, Spanish, Czech, Arabic, Polish and Russian is extremely poor by contrast.

I symthaptise with the neighbouring residents and affected land owners, however, when it gets to the real n why this is happening is far more sinister the truth behind this land invasion and the status quo the truth needs to be told.

I also own land in the near the area (4km away) and I as do others believe that the "affected land owners" have actually devised a underhanded scheme to profit from this scenario by trying to extort millions from other families who live nearby and landowners. Hennie and the affected are basically holding other property owners ranDsom by demanding that we pay now about R11 000 000.00 to solve this problem, they are in cahoots with a certain security company and particular law firm. Residents living in the area are asked to pay R25 000 each and I was told to pay R300k, and I was told to my face if " I wanted the problem to go away I have to pay", its ironic that Hennie accuses Rasta of extortion but him and others are doing the exact same thing in a much much larger scale.

The poor people living close by are basically living in fear, but they is absolutly nothing they can do, these land owners wont even try get an eviction order! I know Eskom has come in to pay its fair share and more but still nothing is fixed, basically our property values are been held randsom by this affected mafia, no different to the construction mafia. One "affected owner" wont even put up a cent, bear in mind that we are talking about land that is over R100million these guys are pleading poverty and claim they dont have money to solve this, land nearby (1km away) is currently on the market at R129 million, they have effectively turned their problems into our problem and want to profit on it as well. I spoke to the one developer who owns some land and he told me the same thing that they demanded the company pay R1.2 bar, ofcourse they wont pay and neither will I.

Its clear that R11 million is not the true cost to demolish those shacks, doing some rough calculation it will cost about R18 000 to demolish a tin roof shack half the size of my bathroom, and it must be told that only about 10% of these shacks are actually occupied. This mafia is running some sort of "protection racket", in that, to keep the people neighbouring the area safe, and keep up the property values they have to pay a protection fee, this mafia refuses to show landowners in the area documents of what they have done to avert this or what they have done so far or even how the money will be spent. What they want is my money in their bank account, no solutions, no talk, no action they just want money, some of the mafia don didnt even pitch to a meeting we called on this issue. A couple us even told them that we will handle the whole eviction we just need their consent to proceed legally through the courts and they refused. As far as Im concerned the EFF and this mafia has equal responsibility in this invasion. Now we as landowners have already spend good money to further secure our properties and have also put in money to help these people with food and water and the likes for those who leave peacefully.

This is the truth, this is the result of people failure to take responsibility of their own property, this is greed, this is extortion. I hope they burn Hennie's place to the ground, and I hope this losses will remind him in future.

Thanks. Puts a completely different angle on it. SA is a mafia state.

In South Africa a farm is at least 21 hectares. I doubt there is any 21 hectare plots anywhere in Centurion. Thrash reporting.

R129 000 000.00

48 hectares .... Actually its about 500 metres from the land grab. There was a buyer, but the deal fell through. Im standing at slightly above R37 000 000.00 on mine, the area it is one of the highest land prices in South Africa for development, unique in that it can be low-cost, equestrian stands or high density housing. It lies near South Africa's newest Equestrian estate, where 5000sqm goes for R5 000 000.00 at the lowest price. My old man bought it at R440 000.00 in the early 1980;'s, it's no longer technically "farms".

In today's market that's not as much crop as we are imaging

It really isnt indeed, but London lane is filled with Thai and Singapore expatriates holding very large nursery estates, 4 hectre roses and such, Shirey's Twickenham estates is also a powerhouse. I feel so sorry for Chris and Shirley at this time, their is no gurantee on their safety at the moment at their age, especially been directly opposite to this madness! In 2018 They could'nt undertand why this is happening all these nuvo-riche people were coming in, I think I should visit them.

Oliven? There were land invasions on the 9th September by the EFF. Another one upcoming. If they can sell, now is the time. There's issues brewing as well between locals and foreigners, as this is one of the areas where they are almost equal to locals in numbers.
This oke is piped, anyone who does any kind of due diligence will immediately buy a 3 bedroom flat in seapoint before touching that place.

He might as well sell everything before it gets looted. Shoot Rasta in the kneecaps and leave.
